Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to the Memocache mobile app ("the app") offered by MemoCache ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

Memocache turns your notes into flashcards and schedules them with spaced repetition. You can use it for free. Premium features are available through an in-app subscription or purchase.

Acceptable use

You may use the app for your own personal learning. You agree not to:

  • break the law or anyone else's rights while using the app;
  • reverse engineer, decompile or try to extract the app's source code, except where the law allows it;
  • interfere with the app, its purchase-validation service or other users;
  • resell, sublicense or redistribute the app or Premium features.

Your content and Notion

Your cards, notes and progress belong to you and stay on your device. When you connect Notion, you are responsible for the integration token you create and for the pages you share with it. Your use of Notion is governed by Notion's own terms. Memocache is an independent app and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Notion Labs, Inc.

Subscriptions and purchases

  • Premium subscriptions are offered monthly or yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Auto-renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Free trial. The yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Cancelling and managing. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google, not by us, so you manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings (iPhone and iPad) or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
  • Prices are shown in the app before you buy and may vary by country.

Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the app or move to a new device with the same Apple ID or Google account, tap Restore purchases on the Premium screen to unlock Premium again at no extra cost.

Apple devices

If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) also applies. Where these Terms and the EULA conflict, the EULA wins for your use on Apple devices. Apple is not responsible for the app or its support.

Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we don't promise that it will be error-free, always available, or that it will meet every learning goal. Keep your own backups of anything important — you can export your review progress from Settings.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the app changes. We'll post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
